Punjab’s lioness Love Gill and Bollywood influencer Faizan Ansari are at the centre of speculation as Bigg Boss 20 prepares to premiere. With Salman Khan back as host and a new “Fans Ka Faisla” twist, audience support could decide who enters India’s most controversial reality show.

Punjabi actress and model Lovepreet “Love” Gill has emerged as one of the most talked-about names for Bigg Boss 20. This season, makers have introduced a unique twist where viewers will vote on the JioHotstar app to decide between two potential contestants—CJP protest face Rhiya Ahir and Love Gill—for a spot inside the house.

Love Gill almost confirmed her participation during an airport interaction with paparazzi in Mumbai. She greeted fans by saying, “Mumbai waalon, the Punjabi girl has arrived. My name is Love Gill,” a statement that quickly went viral and intensified anticipation around her possible entry. 

Known for her work in Punjabi films, television serials, and music videos, Love Gill enjoys strong backing from Punjab. While the show’s TRP dynamics remain unpredictable, her presence has already generated significant buzz ahead of the premiere.

On the other hand, Bollywood influencer Faizan Ansari continues to be a name linked with Bigg Boss speculation. Last year, according to Google News trends, Faizan was among the most discussed personalities across India. He is often described as Bollywood’s first influencer and even gained international attention when American journalist Michael Dorgan wrote about him in a New York-based news outlet. 

Faizan’s name was heavily rumoured for Bigg Boss last season as well. With producers increasingly favouring controversial and digitally influential figures, his inclusion remains a possibility, though no official confirmation has been made for Season 20.

Hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 20 is set to premiere on 6 September 2026 on Colors TV and JioHotstar. This year marks a historic multi-language launch, with Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada editions debuting simultaneously, further expanding the show’s nationwide appeal.

The “Fans Ka Faisla” segment adds a fresh layer of engagement, allowing viewers to directly influence contestant selection. This interactive approach is expected to boost both television ratings and social media conversations, especially with strong regional and digital fanbases backing potential entrants like Love Gill and Faizan Ansari.

While Love Gill’s entry appears increasingly likely, Faizan Ansari’s participation remains uncertain.
