Actress Payal Ghosh who has had a tremendous work background in both worlds of South movies and Bollywood has made an eye-opening revelation. Payal has always been known for her straightforward and blunt nature as an artiste and once again, she has grabbed eyeballs for her recent statement regarding Gen-z starkid actors. Payal, who brings along with her a pool of experience after having worked with legendary senior actors like late Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Brahmanandam and others feels that today's young Gen-z actors promoted by nepotism can never match the authenticity, seriousness and professionalism which the senior generation has shown. Yes, that's right.

The actress who will next be seen in the upcoming project Shaque: The Doubt was recently asked in an event regarding what she feels about the difference between the work approach of senior actors that she has worked compared to the young Gen-z actors that she sees around today. Reacting to this, the actress shared,

"Well, everything is different. I have had the privilege of working with some legendary senior actors like the late Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal ji, Brahmanandam ji and many more. The level of dedication and commitment that I have seen in them on-set is unmatched. Right from the beginning of the day till the end of the last shot, they would have the same energy throughout and that too at that kind of senior age. On the other hand, we often hear that today's young Gen-z actors can't even promote their films by doing interviews throughout the day, let alone shooting dedicatedly whole day. These senior actors never took their stardom or position in the industry for granted. No matter how good they are in the film or how good their film is, they would put an equal amount of effort in promoting the project well like how they would put effort while shooting for it. On the other hand, today's young Gen-z actors are all about tantrums and fake sense of self.

They feel they are a much bigger star than who they really are and this overconfidence is a big reason why their projects are failing. If you don't remain humble or grounded no matter how much things work your way, eventually you will be humbled by God and that's exactly what's happening with these actors. Rishi ji is unfortunately no more but even today, if you meet the likes of Paresh Rawal and Brahmanandam, their humility will surprise you. On the other hand, most of the Gen-z starkids feel that the world revolves around them and that's their biggest delusion. I often hear from some of my other actor friends about how much the young generation needs to level up. Be it getting prepared for their shoot with proper rehearsals to taking their time and discipline seriously, everything is wrong with them. The focus is more on being a social media star rather than an artiste on-screen.

Also, I must say that all the senior actors I have worked with were so approachable and collaborative. Today's Gen-z starkids on the other hand, for even a simple query, they have 5-6 managers. No wonder people complain that they are difficult to work with be it on-screen or offscreen. I have myself faced a similar experience during one of my shoots and that's when I realized all the people from whom I heard these stories about the young generation is literally so true. All I would say is that the era of senior actors was something different and I really doubt if today's generation will ever have that level of commitment or seriousness towards their work."

Well, kudos to Payal Ghosh for speaking her heart out and making such an important and big revelation without any filters in place. We wish the actress good luck for all her upcoming projects.
