Mumbai: Social media influencer Faizan Ansari has intensified his dispute with Dr. Sejal Pawar by initiating a ₹100-crore defamation case and filing a formal complaint with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC), seeking cancellation of her medical registration and disciplinary action against her.
According to documents submitted by Ansari to the Maharashtra Medical Council, he has accused Pawar of engaging in conduct that he claims is inconsistent with the ethical standards expected of members of the medical profession. In his complaint, Ansari has requested that the council investigate the matter and take action regarding her medical credentials.
The complaint alleges that Pawar made remarks and engaged in public conduct that Ansari considers objectionable and damaging. He further claimed that such actions have caused harm to his reputation and public image, prompting him to pursue legal remedies.
Alongside the regulatory complaint, Ansari has announced that he is filing a ₹100-crore defamation suit against Pawar. He stated that the legal action is aimed at holding her accountable for statements and actions that he alleges were defamatory and intended to tarnish his image.
