After claiming responsibility for the attack on comedian Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Canada, Harry Boxer, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has issued a warning to Bollywood filmmakers against working with actor Salman Khan. “We will not spare anyone who works with Salman. We will go to any extent necessary to kill them,” he allegedly said in a leaked audio clip.

Kap’s Cafe, located in Surrey, Canada, was attacked again on Thursday, just a month after its first attack on July 8. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for both incidents, stating that Kapil Sharma was targeted due to his association with Salman Khan.

According to India Today, in the audio clip, Harry Boxer said, “The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show.” He further warned the film industry: “If anyone works with Salman, whether a small-time actor or a small-time director, we will not spare anyone. We will kill them. We will go to any extent necessary to kill them.”

For context, Salman Khan appeared as the first guest on the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, which premiered on June 21. The actor has been in conflict with the Bishnoi gang since the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, in which he is the primary accused.

The first attack on Kap’s Cafe saw unidentified gunmen firing several rounds before fleeing. After police investigation, the cafe reopened, only to face another attack on August 7, when assailants fired at least half a dozen bullets, damaging its windows.

A video from the scene shows an armed man firing multiple rounds outside the eatery. Gang member Goldy Dhillon also posted online claiming responsibility and warning of possible action in Mumbai. Kapil Sharma has not yet commented on the latest incident.
