Armaan stated that he has been living in Zirakpur, Punjab, for the past five years and has been receiving threats for quite some time. He mentioned that an FIR has been filed regarding these threats. He also claimed that despite visiting government offices and police stations for several months, his application for an arms license has not been approved.
He further alleged that a few days ago, an unidentified car followed him, prompting him to contact the police helpline and share all relevant information, including the car's registration number. However, he claimed there was no follow-up from the authorities. He expressed frustration, stating, "Every time they ignore my request and say that a case has been registered against me in Delhi."
Armaan denied having any criminal history, calling the case against him "jhootha aur be-buniyaad" (false and baseless). He emphasized that he is active on social media, posting family content, and has been receiving constant threats to his life and family. Despite taking legal steps and filing complaints, he stated that the sense of danger still looms over him and his family.
He appealed to the authorities, saying, "I am a father, a responsible citizen, and I have every right to protect myself and my children. My humble request is that I be granted an arms license so that I can at least defend myself. This is not a rebellious plea, but the appeal of a helpless yet self-respecting citizen who simply wants that he and his family may live in safety."
Armaan Malik is known for his marriage to two wives, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik. The trio participated in the third season of Bigg Boss OTT and have four children together. Armaan married Payal in 2011 and, in 2018, tied the knot with Payal's best friend, Kritika.
