The clip captures his pet dog, Simba, gently licking the tattoo of Tyagi’s late wife, Shefali Jariwala, on his chest — a visual symbol of their continued bond even after her death. In the Instagram caption, Parag wrote, “This is how our baby Simba kisses mumma, Simbu knows mumma is always with us.” The post quickly struck a chord with fans, who found the moment both heartwarming and deeply emotional as they remembered Shefali.
Since Shefali’s passing in June 2025, Simba has often appeared in Parag’s posts. The actor frequently refers to the dog as their “baby,” emphasising how central Simba has been to their family narrative after the tragic loss.
This tribute video also recalls a significant gesture Parag made in August 2025: he had Shefali’s face tattooed on his chest. He chose that personal milestone — which would have marked an anniversary — to unveil the tattoo as a tribute to his late wife, writing on Instagram: “Doston wait is finally over. Here is my gift to Pari on our 15th anniversary. She is always in my heart, in each and every cell of my body. Now everyone can see it.”
Shefali Jariwala passed away on June 27, 2025, at her residence in Mumbai following a cardiac arrest. Reports suggested that the medical event was triggered by a sudden drop in blood pressure, possibly linked to anti-ageing medication taken on an empty stomach while fasting for spiritual reasons. She was cremated in Mumbai on June 28 in the presence of close family and friends.
