Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are gearing up for one of the year’s most talked-about celebrity weddings, scheduled for February 26, 2026, in Udaipur. The couple recently confirmed their wedding plans on Instagram, sharing that they will name their union “The Wedding of VIROSH” — a fan-coined combination of their names.
Amid mounting buzz, social media was flooded with viral clips of well-known personalities arriving in Udaipur, sparking speculation about whether members of the Ambani family would attend. Mukesh Ambani and his daughter Isha Ambani were spotted in the city earlier, and so were Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani in separate clips. However, a closer look by media outlets suggests that the Ambanis’ visit may not be related to Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding — the family was reportedly at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara seeking blessings, not attending the ceremony.
For the wedding itself, only about 100 guests have been invited to witness the intimate ceremony in Udaipur. Videos from the airport have shown close friends and industry associates like director Tharun Bhascker, actress Eesha Rebba, Ashika Ranganath, and Rahul Ravindran arriving ahead of the celebrations. Reports also suggest Sandeep Reddy Vanga may be among the attendees.
Preparations have included festive pre-wedding moments, such as a cricket match organised by the couple for family, playfully dubbed the Virosh Cricket Premiere League. Social-media posts hinted at a blend of traditional South Indian customs at the wedding, with guests expected to be served meals on banana leaves with coconut water as part of the hospitality.
Rashmika and Vijay also plan a grand reception for their film-industry friends on March 4, 2026, following their intimate Udaipur wedding ceremony.
