The following morning, the couple took to social media to officially share the happy news with their fans and followers. “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl!” read their heartfelt announcement on Instagram.
The news instantly went viral, with fans and celebrities flooding the comments section with congratulatory messages. Neha Dhupia wrote, “Welcome to the best hood… PARENTHOOD Ki n Sid (sic),” while renowned designer and Kiara's close friend, Manish Malhotra, dropped a series of red hearts, expressing his love and excitement for the couple.
Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot in February 2023 in a fairytale ceremony after being in a relationship for several years. Their wedding video became one of the most-watched and liked social media posts that year. Then in February 2025, the couple surprised fans once again by announcing their pregnancy in the cutest way possible—sharing a photo of two tiny knitted baby socks with the caption, “The greatest gift of our lives… Coming soon (sic).”
On the work front, Kiara Advani is set to showcase a never-before-seen avatar in War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. The action-packed film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is scheduled for release during the Independence Day weekend. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra is preparing for the release of Param Sundari, a cross-cultural romance also starring Janhvi Kapoor. The film is set to hit theatres in August.
