Social media influencer Faizan Ansari has written to the Commissioner of Police (CP) in Pune, urging a formal investigation and strict legal action following serious allegations of sexual assault made by the daughter of underworld figure Haji Mastan. In his complaint letter, Ansari said he was acting on behalf of his friend Haseen Mastan, who has accused a man named Nasir Hussain of repeatedly raping her against her will.
According to the letter submitted to Pune police, Haseen, the daughter of the late don Haji Mastan, has alleged that Hussain “forcefully established physical relations with her multiple times against her will.” The complaint further states that the accused is currently believed to be hiding in Pune and is allegedly staying with a woman identified as Zareen Nasir Hussain.
In the document, Ansari requested police to take cognisance of the complaint immediately, record the victim’s statement, and carry out a “prompt, fair, and impartial investigation” into the matter. He also urged authorities to initiate strict legal action in accordance with the law if the allegations are found to be true.
He assured the Pune Police of full cooperation and noted that the alleged victim would be made available to authorities when required for the probe. “Considering the gravity of the allegations and the serious concern regarding the safety and dignity of a woman,” Ansari wrote, requesting swift action from the police.
The letter underscores the serious nature of the accusations and emphasizes that a thorough investigation must be carried out, with legal consequences following if the claims are substantiated.
