Parambrata Chatterjee has started the shooting of Abhijaan, on veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee. Jisshu Sengupta will be essaying the role of young Soumitra Chatterjee. The film will also feature Paoli Dam, Qaushiq Mukherjee, Rudranil Ghosh in the pivotal roles.

And recently a fan shared a picture where Jisshu Sengupta and Parambrata Chatterjee is spotted shooting for the film. Parambrata Chatterjee is seen explaining about the role to Jisshu Sengupta.

“Legends ! Literally saw Parambrata and Jisshu opposite to our hostel ! I went crazy ! Parambrata, Payel waved at us and Jisshu Sir not only waved but even gave us flying kisses ! DAY MADE ! LOVE YOU GUYS ! Eagerly waiting for #Abhijaan,” the fan captioned the picture.


The biopic will cover the versatile actor's career and not to forget the thespian actor has acted in more than 300 films.

Meanwhile, Parambrata Chatterjee will be next seen in Arindam Bhattacharya’s next thriller Antardhaan. The story is about missing girl child. Parambrata Chatterjee and Tanusree Chakraborty will be seen in essaying the role of husband and wife. Parambrata has been recently transferred. The couple has a daughter who one day went missing. When they start searching for her, the couple comes to know that their daughter had gone out with her friend. But the friend did not accompany their daughter then where does she go? The film is a thriller and full of suspense.
