Actor Dev Adhikari's has just dropped an information on his official Twitter handle and fans can't keep calm. The actor has geared up for his next project and he has even revealed the name of his next film.
The actor took to his official Twitter handle and wrote the post in Bengali,"আপনাদের ভালো থাকার #টনিক আসছে ২০২০ তে". The film will be released next year in 2020.
On the work front, he will be next seen in Sanjhbati. The film is directed by Saibal Bandyopadhyay and Leena Gangyopadhyay. Sanjhbati is releasing on December 20.
‘Sanjhbati’ movie will showcase relationship from a completely different angle. Dev will play the character of a suburban young man who comes to the city and meets a young girl played by Paoli in unusual circumstances. However, Lily Chakraborty plays the main protagonist in the film. The veteran actress plays the role of an elderly woman who is in the center of the narrative.
In this movie Dev will be seen in completely different avatar. In last few years Dev is trying to balance his career between mainstream and urban content based cinema. Meanwhile, Paoli Dam has already worked with this director duo on their debut film and she is so excited to work with them once again.
He will be also the part of Dhurbo Banerjee's next film. Banerjee’s last film Durgeshgorer had been doing well at the box office. The film stars Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakrabarty and Jhinuk.
The story of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon begins when history professor Subarna Sena who along with Abir and Jhinuk decide to visit one of Subarna student’s ancestral mansion at Durgeshgor. The great grandfather of this student was a zamindar and a renowned artist of Bengal. There is a story in the family that they had once received a treasure, but unfortunately, all traces of it had been lost. Subarna along with Abir and Jhinuk tries to find lost clues that may lead them to unearth one of the greatest treasures of Bengal.
