Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee Reveals About His Next Films And Plans For Year 2020
In 2019 his all three films- Jyeshthoputro, Gumnaami and Robibaar was appreciated a lot. The films also travelled to many film festivals on the national and international levels. This year also the actor promises to woo his fans by his acting
Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee has his plate full for this year. The actor is known for his performances in the films like Gumnaami released in 2019 has been ruling the industry for a long time. He has done some unforgettable roles which have left a mark in the heart of his fans. In 2019 his all three films- Jyeshthoputro, Gumnaami and Robibaar was appreciated a lot. The films also travelled to many film festivals on the national and international levels.
Revealing about his 2020 plans, the actor said that he has finalized three films which also includes web series by Srijit Mukherji.
He will be seen in Kaushik Ganguly untitled film, then Srijit Mukherji’s Kakababur Protyaborton. It is a web series and this time Kakababu is ready for his next adventurous journey in the jungles of South Africa. Kakababur Protyaborton will be based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s story Jongoler Moddhye Ek Hotel. E. And then in Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Haami 2.
Last year while speaking at International Film Festival of India 2019, he had said, “There is a need for good actors who can pull off different characters on screen and the concept of heroes has started becoming irrelevant. I feel really happy when I see an actor like Nawazuddin (called) a star. He is the face of his film. This was not possible 20 years ago. Today, it is not just the looks. There is no so-called hero or heroine. It has to be a performer.”
His last release Robibaar opposite Jaya Ahsan deals with the couple issues.
