Actress Koel Mallick, who got marries to Nispal Singh in 2013, is all set to start a new phase in her life. The actress, who last appeared in Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan, is expecting her first child and has taken to social media to share the wonderful news. Koel and Nispal got married after dating for almost seven years.  

“Through the rolling days of kick, punches and somersaults…the sound of a new life beating inside me. Like a glistening silver thread woven into the fabric of my live. Our child is longingly awaited this summer,’ she tweeted with her and Nispal picture.

On the work front, Koel will be next seen in another thriller film titled ‘Rawkto Rawhoshyo’. The film stars Koel Mallick, Lily Chakraborty, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Basabdutta Chatterjee and Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles. The film was announced in 2018 and it got delayed with reasons unknown.  



Last year, Koel Mallick two thriller films were released. Mitin Mashi in which she essayed the role of a detective was also appreciated by everyone. Directed by Arindam Sil, the film became an inspiration for many women and also brought many laurels. It also travelled to many film festivals.
