Arindam Sil’s Mitin Mashi Successfully Completes 50 Days At Boxoffice, Koel Mallick Thanks Fans

Arindam Sil’s Mitin Mashi Successfully Completes 50 Days At Boxoffice, Koel Mallick Thanks Fans
Actress Koel Mallick has thanked her fans for the successful completion of her film Mitin Mashi. Mitin Mashi has completed 50 days at the box office. The film is a detective thriller and Koel Mallick is essaying the tutorial character.

Koel Mallick took to her official Twitter account and expressed thanks to her fans. “#MitinMashi completes 50 Days in theatres today...Thanks a ton for your overwhelming response,” she tweeted.


The film has projected a female as a detective. Talking to Pycker, Arindam had said, “I think my film will be the first one with a female detective. Mitin is something Bengali audience has never seen before. Mitin is the representative of women empowerment.”

The trailer of the film is widely being appreciated. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the movie being around the kidnapping of a school kid. Later we are introduced with parents of the kid played by Vinay Pathak and June Malya who hire Mitin Mashi for investigating the crime. Koel Mallick is Mitin Masi aka Pragyaparamita Mukherjee who is a homemaker cum detective. Her look and body language are looking very different from most of her mainstream movies. In the trailer, we can see her doing action also.   

Koel Mallick will be next seen in Director Sayantan Ghosal's directorial  Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan. The film stars Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Koel Mallick, Gaurav Chakraborty and Kanchan Mullick. The film is releasing on December 6 and the whole film has been shot in Thailand. Parambrata Chatterjee and Gaurav Chakraborty play Bimal and Kumar and Koel Mallick will be essaying the role of a doctor. The poster looks fun ride and gives a glimpse of film being a treasure hunt thriller.
