Asur: Actress Rajandini Paul To Share Screen Space With Actors Jeet And Abir Chatterjee
Actress Rajandini Paul is going to be part of Pavel’s upcoming directorial movie Asur which also stars Jeet, Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan. The shooting of the film has already started.

According to The Times of India, the actress said, “I was in talks with Pavel for very long. Jeet da himself called me up to offer the role.” However, she didn’t revealed much about her role in the film.

The film Asur is a tribute to eminent sculptor Ramkinkar Baij. Apart from Kolkata, the film will be shot in Bolpur. The film is expected to release by the end of this year.

Rajnandini, daughter of famous actress Indrani Dutta, made her debut on the silver screen with Abhishek Saha's ‘Uronchondi’. Her second project Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ which also won 66th national award this year. 

In Uronchondi, the actress played the role of a newly-wed young girl who is trying to escape from her life and joins two other women on a road trip. 

Meanwhile, in ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ she played the role of Chandravati Devi. The movie is all about Mahendra Kumar Choudhuri, the prince of the Bhawal Estate, is taken to Darjeeling for treatment by his relatives where he dies. Years later, a sanyasi shows up claiming to be the lost prince. And how he struggles to prove his identity?
