Avijatrik’s Character Look Released; Pictures Will Take You Back In Time
Avijatrik is based on the last part of Bibhutibhusan Bandyopadhyay's Aparajito. The film starts where Satyajit Ray's Apu trilogy ended. Abhijatrik will take Apu's story forward. Arpita Chatterjee is also seen in the film
Subhrajit Mitra has completed shooting of Avijatrik-The Wanderlust of Apu. The film stars Arjun Chakrabarty in iconic character Apu, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty will portray the role of Apu’s globetrotter friend, Arpita Chatterjee will be seen as Leela, Sreelekha Mitra plays Ranu di, Ditipriya Roy as Aparna and Sohag Sen playing Ranu’s elder sister, among others.

The storyline is based on the concluding part of, Aparajito, by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. In the film, Apu will relive his childhood through the eyes of his son, visiting Benaras and his village Nischindipur. The film starts where Satyajit Ray's Apu trilogy ended. Abhijatrik will take Apu's story forward.
