Baazi: Actor Jeet Cancels Shooting Of His Next Film Starring Mimi Chakraborty
Actor Jeet had started the shooting of his next film Baazi which is an official remake of a Telugu film Nannaku Prematho. The film will have Mimi Chakraborty as lead actress. Both the actors will be sharing screen space for the first time. The film is expected to release in this Eid.

“In an unfortunate situation like this where a #PanademicVirus has been a life taking threat to mankind… we have decided to cancel the shoot of our next #Baazi in London & we are returning on immediate basis back to our respective nests with the entire cast and crew. Lets pray that we all come out of this situation really soon. #StaySafe,” he shared the news on Instagram.

Nannaku Prematho features NTR Jr. and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film was also dubbed into Hindi as Family- Ek Deal and Tamil as Anbudan Appavukku. And now it is being remade in Bengali as Baazi with Jeet essaying the role of Jr.NTR. The story revolves around a man who wants to take revenge for his father and how he takes?

On the work front, Mimi will be next seen in Dracula Sir opposite Anirban Bhattacharya. The story of the film is about a primary school teacher who is mostly called as Dracula Sir because of his different teeth structure. How he get this name is the film all about. Mimi's character has not been revealed until now. Mimi is playing the love interest of Anirban in the film.

Meanwhile, Jeet was last seen in Pavel’s directorial Asur. The film also stars Nusrat Jahan and Abir Chatterjee in the lead role.
