Bismillah: Riddhi Sen Announces His Next Film, To Share Screen Space With Kaushik Ganguly
Kaushik is not directing the film. It will be Indraadip Dasgupta’s third film as a director and both Riddhi and Kaushik will be seen in the lead role. The shooting will start in January
Actor Riddhi Sen has announced his next project titled ‘Bismillah’ with director Indraadip Dasgupta. Riddhi will be sharing the screen space with Kaushik Ganguly for the second time.
He took to his official Instagram account to make the announcement, “So for all those who wanted to know about my next project after Nagarkirtan and Vinci Da, here it goes, Indraadip Dasgupta’s third film, ‘Bismillah’ , produced by Kolkata Kaleidoscope, Samiran Das. Will start filming this January, I wanted to take a break after these two films which have really changed me as an actor, after ten months, I am immensely lucky to get a script which simply blew my mind. Thank you Indraadip Da for coming up with a story which is much needed in 2019 and another wish comes true, the Nagarkirtan connection will come back again with a little twist, will be sharing the screen with one of my most favourite ‘actors’, Kaushik Ganguly. The rest of the cast will be revealed soon, till then, wish us luck .”
The teaser poster is designed by Ekta Bhattacharjee. This time Kaushik is not directing the film. It will be Indraadip Dasgupta’s third film as a director and both Riddhi and Kaushik will be seen in the lead role.
It is reported that the film will go on floor after Indraadip will finish ‘Aguntuk’ shooting. Aguntuk will star Abir Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar in the lead role.
Riddhi Sen has bagged national award for the film Nagarkirtan. It is a love story of a transwoman and flutist which stars Riddhi Sen and Ritwik Chakraborty. It is a critically acclaimed movie that swept many national awards.
