Bollywood Actor Vinay Pathak Starts Shooting of His First Bengali Film ‘Mitin Mashi’
Bollywood Actor Vinay Pathak has started shooting for the film Mitin Mashi. The film is directed by Arindam Sil and is inspired by Suchitra Bhattacharya’s story Hate Matro Teenteh Din.

Actor Vinay Pathak took to his official Twitter account and wrote, “So far so fun.” This will be his first Bengali film.


Accordign to reports, Vinay will essay the role of a Parsi businessman in the film. Mitin Mashi will be Sil’s third detective film after Byomkesh Bakshi and Shabor.

Apart from Koel Mallick, Arunima Ghosh, Riya Banik, and Subhrajit Dutta will play crucial roles in the film. The film is slated for a Puja release. Actress Koel Mallick has also started shooting for the film. She has just completed shooting of film Bony in Italy.

The film’s music will be composed by Bickram Ghosh. The script has been co-written by Padmanabha Dasgupta and Sil himself.

Meanwhile, Vinay will be next seen in a romantic thriller 'Aliya Basu Gayab Hai'. The film features Raima Sen and Salim Diwan too. Directed by Preeti Singh, the film portrays characters with different sexual orientations and complexities of human emotions. It shows how far a person will go to save himself/herself and how destiny has its own way of catching up.
