Ritabhari Chakraborty’s upcoming film Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti has already left a mark on the fans. The film which is yet to be released is already talk of the town all because of its story and poster. The official poster of the film shows a modern woman as a goddess who is capable of doing all work and in other words, she is portrayed as multi-task woman.

Talking about her upcoming film, Ritabhari says that the film question many age-old rituals prevalent on our society. “the poster shows a woman as an idol with so many hands which are carrying sanitary pad, a painkiller, a hot water bag and many other things. “There are so many rules when women are in periods like not allowed to go inside the temple or kitchen and this film will talk about all those taboos. It is a fun movie,” added Ritabhari.


The film is directed by Aritra Mukherjee and will have Soham Majumdar in the lead role. The film is all set for its release on March 6, 2020.


The film makes one think about the old fashioned rites and rituals and even questions the gender imbalance in society. The film breaks many taboos of society and talks about equal rights for women in our society.

Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti story will revolve around Ritabhari, who is a lecturer and performing artiste. But she is into another profession too. When an encounter with Vikramaditya leads to a marriage proposal, she tells her would-be groom about her multiple identities. Then her would-be husband forces her to follow only one profession. How will she do it?
