Director Aritra Mukherjee’s Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti is already news ahead of its release. The film questions many taboos of our society which is related to women. The film stars Ritabhari Chakraborty and Soham Majumdar in the lead role and is releasing on Womens’ Day i.e. March 6, 2020.

To increase the excitement among fans, filmmakers have released a video featuring Soham Majumdar dancing and singing. This will be his first film as a lead actor. The film is being bankrolled by Windows Production. 


Earlier, the filmmakers had shared a video where they asked questions to common people about the 'Kanyadaan'.  People are seen sharing their views on a traditional ritual which is performed during the marriage of a daughter. Many women said that it is being practised from so many years and we have heard also so we followed it. 


Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti story will revolve around Ritabhari, who is a lecturer and performing artiste. But she is into another profession too. When an encounter with Vikramaditya leads to a marriage proposal, she tells her would-be groom about her multiple identities. Then her would-be husband forces her to follow only one profession. How will she do it?
