Ram Kamal Mukherjee has bagged best emerging director award for his feature film ‘Rickshawala’ at Cafe Irani Chai International Festival 2020. The festival was organized in Mumbai during 11-13 March. ‘Rickshawala’ is a bilingual language film.

Ram Kamal Mukherjee’s Cakewalk and Season’s Greeting has been part of many international film festivals and even appreciated by the audience.
The 47 minute short film shows the life journey of Rituparno Ghosh. The film also focuses on mother and daughter relationship. Amitabh Bachchan had unveiled the first look of the film.
Meanwhile, Ram Kamal Mukherjee has announced his film ‘Binodini Dasi’. The film is about the journey of Binodini Dasi. Not many know, Binodini Dasi also known as Notee Binodini, was well known Bengali actress. She had started acting at the age of 12 and stopped acting when she was 23. She had also written her autobiography called Amar Katha (The Story of My Life) was published in 1913.
