Digital release of the films has divided the entertainment sector. Some directors in the Bollywood have announced that they will be releasing their films on the digital space as the lockdown has further extended till May 31. Laxmi bomb, Shakuntala Devi, Gulabo Sitabo are some of the films which will be released on the OTT.

Tollywood actor Prosenjit Chatterjee shared his thoughts on this issue to The Times of India. He said, “Change is constant and we should all accept it. The digital release of the film is new to us but this trend will never change the experience of watching a film in theatres. As we cannot completely avoid the new mediums, we have to keep OTT as an option.
