Cold Fire: And Its Wrap Up For Riddhi Sen’s Short Film, Pens Down A Message For The Team
Riddhi Sen has recently wrapped up the shooting of his next upcoming film Bismillah which is directed by Indraadip Dasgupta. Subhashree Ganguly will be featured opposite Riddhi Sen in the film
Riddhi Sen had wrapped up the shooting of his short film titled ‘Cold Fire’. In this short film, Riddhi Sen has first time directed his father Kaushik Sen. The film which will be based on Nabarun Bhattacharya’s story.
Riddhi Sen shared the picture of his team and wrote, “And it’s a wrap !!!!!!!!!!!!! A LOT of people are missing in this frame , who have literally given their blood and sweat to get this dream come to life , come to celluloid ! It’s an inexplicable feeling to see everyone getting involved slowly , steadily ,just like a perfect imperceptible trolley, which finally pauses to form a beautiful family , something which is beyond the word ‘professional’ , something which is rare these days , Coldfire will be special ,always, thank you, each and every one.”
Confirming the news, Riddhi Sen had written on Instagram, “Something I have been planning since 2015, as Scorsese says , ‘this is a story which kept on disturbing me , burning inside me , creating an inexplicable ‘need’ to share it with people ‘ . I didn’t know the medium until 2015, then one sudden morning I realised this deep connection with this instrument called camera , through which , one can meddle with ‘time’ . I don’t know what will happen , but I definitely know it for a fact , that I’m going to ‘learn’ the craft while making it , this is my first year of film school , thank you Nabarun Bhattacharya, for planting this madness inside me with Coldfire.”
Meanwhile, Riddhi Sen will be next seen in Bismillah which will be directed by Indraadip Dasgupta. Subhashree Ganguly will be featured opposite Riddhi Sen in the film.
