Actor Dev Adhikari, who is gearing for his next film ‘Golondaaj’ which is a biopic on father of Indian football, is slowly moving towards content-driven films. The actor last release films like Password, Kabir are proof to his new inclination. Even Dev himself admits that there is a need for better content.

Sharing his concern, Dev said that “These days in Bollywood and other regional languages, films are coming up with good content. There are so many remakes of South films are being done these days. They are coming up with such nice subjects, ideas and concepts. And here we are not looking around what we have.” 

Dev even said that he will not make or do the remake. “We have to come up with interesting content that is on a par. As actors, we need to tell unique stories to people. This is the future,” he added.

Meanwhile, Dev has recently completed wrapped the shooting of Tonic. The story of Tonic will revolve around a possessive father-son relationship. As the film will proceed, we will see their over -possessiveness nature is affecting their relationship. The problem becomes more critical when the son celebrates his parents’ 50th anniversary in a low-key way but celebrated his own anniversary in a grand way. How they will make their relationship work and sort all their differences is the story all about
