Dhrubo Banerjee's Football Saga Golondaaj To Go On Floors From February
Director Dhrubo Banerjee has released the motion poster of his next film ‘Golondaaj’. The film is based on the legendary footballer Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari and Dev Adhikari will be essaying the tutorial role. The film is releasing in this summer and the shooting will start from February. 

Speaking about the film, Dhrubo said that the entire team is working hard. “Everyone is playing football to understand the small bits also and even to do justice to their respective role. In this way I am also playing football every day with my team,” added the director.


As reported, Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari is considered as the father of Indian football. He is the one who had introduced football to the Indians. Dev has started training for the film and he is taking from none other than former football player Bhaichung Bhutia.


Apart from Dev Adhikari, Anirban Bhattacharya will be seen in the role of Bhargav. The role of Kamalini will be played by Ishaa Saha. She is the princess of Sovabazar and is married to Nagendra. Jeetendra role will be played by Indrashish Ray, a man who loves his motherland extremely and is against Britishers. Surya Kumar Sarbadhikari role will be played by singer Srikanto Acharya. Prasanna Kumar Sarbadhikari, elder brother of Nagendra will be played by Joydeep Mukherjee. John Bhattacharya will feature as Binod.
