Director Arjunn Dutta Starts Working On Scripts Amid Coronavirus Lockdown
Arjunn Dutta’s next directorial Guldasta release, which was scheduled to release on April 24, has been postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. His next film ‘Shrimati’ shooing has also been put on hold but this has let down the director’s confidence. He has started working on other scripts in this lockdown.

As reported in The Times of India, the director has mentioned that shooting of the film Shrimati has been completed more than 90 per cent and only few works are left. Shrimati will see Swastika Mukherjee and Soham Chakraborty in the lead role. The film is a family drama, which will show Swastika Mukherjee as a wife of Soham Chakraborty. She is madly in love with her husband but she is also attracted towards the glamour of high society life. Her attraction grows to the extent that she ends up losing her own identity.


The film cast includes Debjani Bose, Trina Saha, Brishti, Kheya Chattopadhyay. Bollywood actor Barkha Bisht Sengupta will make a guest appearance.
Guldasta stars Swastika Mukherjee, Arpita Mukherjee and Debjani Chatterjee will be seen in the lead roles. Arpita Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee will be sharing the screen space for the first time.


The film is a women-centric film which will feature three female characters in the central role. The third woman character will be played by Debjani Chatterjee. The story will be about the crisis in the life of the three protagonists and how they are dealing with their hardship.
