Kamaleswar Mukherjee's directorial Password has attracted a lot of movie buffs this puja. Fans are loving this new concept which deals with the dark side of the internet. The star cast includes Dev Adhikari, Parambrata Chatterjee, Paoli dam, Rukimni Maitra and Adrit Roy in the lead roles.
But do you know the reason behind of releasing this film in Puja. Actor Dev Adhikari explains the reason behind this. According to his interview given to The Times of India, he said that Dev Entertainment Ventures has always taken risks when it comes to film and especially new subjects.
"I believe the story of a film should relate with today’s time and crises. When Bollywood is presenting a film like War then why not us? We too should have equally good films with great looks and graphics," he said.
The film revolves around internet side effects. In the trailer, it shows a woman being blackmailed and being watched everywhere. She is not even safe in her home. Then the scene straight goes to government offices where they are tensed because someone is hacking the information and misusing it. There is an organization of hackers who deals with the dark web, have become a threat to the nation’s security. Parambrata Chatterjee and Paoli Dam are playing the head of this organization . A senior officer DCDD Rohit Dasgupta, played by Dev, has been assigned to catch the criminal minds behind cybercrime activities. Rukmini Maitra and Adrit Roy are also playing dark web experts but which side they are that has not been clearly shown.
