Durgavati: Jisshu Sengupta To Share Screen Space With Bollywood Actress Bhumi Pednekar

Jisshu Sengupta is one of the most bankable actors in Tollywood who has his hands filled with many projects including Bollywood and south. He has many projects lined up and now there is one more in addition. Jisshu Sengupta will be seen with Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar in a film titled Durgavati.
Durgavati directed by G Ashok is a Hindi remake of Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie’ which had Anushka Shetty in the lead role. The shooting of the film has already started. Both actors have shared pictures on social media.

On the work, Jisshu will be seen next in Sadak 2 where he will be essaying the role of Alia Bhatt’s father. Next, he will be featured as Vidya Balan's husband in Shakuntala Devi. Vidya Balan will play the role of math genius Shakuntala Devi and Jisshu will play her on-screen husband Paritosh Banerji who was an IAS officer from Kolkata and was married to Shakuntala. However, they got separated in 1979. The film is directed by Anu Menon.
He has also been chosen to play the role of young Soumitra Chatterjee’s role. Parambrata Chatterjee will be directing a film on thespian actor Soumitra Chatterjee titled ‘Abhijaan’.
