Amid the outbreak Coronavirus when all the releases have been on standby, filmmakers are launching their films on social platforms. And Srijit Mukherji’s Dwitiyo Purush which been lapped by the audience at national and international platforms is also being premiered at digital platforms.

Prosenjit Chatterjee has watched the film recently and praised Srijit Mukherji for his film and called him ‘excellent captain’. “Khub bhalo laglo #DwitiyoPurush excellent captain @srijitspeaketh..And @paramspeak excel Probir..so happy..excellent performance..#Anirban too good..Man of d match #Rwitobroto..Thanks @hoichoitv @SVFsocial,” he tweeted.


Prosenjit Chatterjee has recently returned from the shooting of Srijit Mukherji’s Kakababur Protyaborton in South Africa. Prosenjit will also start shooting for a Hindi web series by Vikramaditya Motwane. The web series based on true stories and will be shot in Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai, as reported by Times of India.

Dwitiyo Purush story starts from Baishe Srabon was left off. Baishe Srabon starred Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Abir Chatterjee.

The trailer starts with a voice of Prosenjit Chatterjee showing from the climax scene of Baishe Srabon. Immediately, the trailer brings us to the present scenario where a policeman is telling that similar crime had happened nine years back and now again it is repeating. Parambrata Chatterjee is seen as a senior investigating officer. Gaurav Chakrabarty will be seen as his junior officer. Prosenjit’s marriage scene is also shown with Raima Sen. Two new characters played by Anirban Bhattacharya and Rwitobroto Mukherjee came as a surprise for the audience.
