Ek Je Chillo Raja Is Selected For Indian Panorama Section At International Film Festival Of India
Srijit Mukherji’s Ek Je Chillo Raja has been selected for Indian Panorama Section at 50th International Film Festival of India to be held in Goa this year. The director himself shared the good news on his social media account.

Srijit Mukherji wrote, “#EkJeChhiloRaja selected for Indian Panorama section at the 50th International Film Festival of India, Goa, the biggest Film Festival in India. This is the 8th Festival selection for the film and our third after #Rajkahini and #Uma. Congratulations to the team!:)”


The film has also won national award for this year. The movie stars Jisshu Sengupta in the titular role of Maharaja Mahendra Kumar Chowdhury as well as the Bhawal sanyasi. The film also stars Jaya Ahsan, Aparna Sen, Anirban Bhattacharya, Anjan Dutt, Rudranil Ghosh, and Sreenanda Shankar. The movie was released in 2018.

The movie is all about Mahendra Kumar Choudhuri, the prince of the Bhawal Estate, is taken to Darjeeling for treatment by his relatives where he dies. Years later, a sanyasi shows up claiming to be the lost prince. And how he struggles to prove his identity?

On the work front, the director’s Gumnaami has released on October 2. The film is based on the national freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose.
