‘Hey Garvodharini’: Raj Chakraborty Announces Next Multi-starrer With Subhashree Ganguly, Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mitra, Soham Chakraborty, Swatilekha Sengupta
Raj Chakraborty’s Parineeta will be releasing in the first week of September and he is all set to start shooting his next directorial titled. ‘Hey Garvodharini’. The film will feature multi-stars including Subhashree Ganguly, Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mitra, Soham Chakraborty, Swatilekha Sengupta. 

Raj Chakraborty took to Twitter to announce his next project. “Our next Hey #Garvodharini starring #SwatilekhaSengupta #RitwickChakraborty @subhashreesotwe @parnomittra @myslf_soham Releasing this #December.”



According to reports, the film will be a political drama set in a locality situated near border area. The film will revolve around five central characters an aged woman, a girl who is her caretaker and three strangers who come to take shelter in her house. It will focus on the equations between these five characters, going through a situation of communal violence around them. 

Veteran actress Swatilekha Sengupta will be seen playing the aged woman. The other four characters will be played by Ritwick Chakraborty, Soham Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly and Parno Mittra. Both Swatilekha Sengupta and Parno Mittra will be working with Raj Chakraborty for the first time. Also it will be the first time when Ritwick Chakraborty and Soham Chakraborty will share screen together. 
It will be Raj Chakraborty’s second directorial for his home production after Parineeta.
