Interesting Women Characters Are Needed More, Says Parno Mitra

Parno Mitra is all set for her next release Dharmajuddha. The film release has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The actress last release Urojahaj was lapped by the audience. But the actress feels that more interesting roles should be written for the women.
Sharing the thoughts on the same, Parno Mitra said that Mitin Mashi like films did well at the box office which means people are accepting women centric films. “This is good and hence more interesting women characters are needed,” she added while talking to The Times of India.

The multi starrer film is a political drama which shows border area where violence over religious differences is a regular thing. The film revolves around five characters who are either Hindu and Muslim. The trailer shows that Subhashree Ganguly, Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mitra, Soham Chakraborty are taking shelter in the house of Swatilekha Sengupta. The whole area is burning in communal riot and Hindu and Muslims are fighting with each other. How they keep themselves safe in the film all about.
