After the immense success of the Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan, director Sayantan Ghosal is planning his next film. Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan which was released on December 6 is running successfully at the cinema halls. The audience is hooked up with a high level of adventure the film is offering to them.
And now Sayantan Ghosal is planning for Jawker Dhan 3. The director revealed the plans to The Telegraph. Speaking about the same, he said that the work on the scripts has already started. “I am really excited to start my next. I knew the areas of improvement and will try to do in my next,” he added.

Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan take forward the journey of the two lead characters Bimal and Kumar from the first part, with yet another new treasure hunt.
The trailer opens with a voice-over that gives a hint about the hidden treasure that is red Mercury can be used as an alternative source of energy. Both Kumar and Bimal wants to find it for the welfare of mankind. They have been joined by doctor Ruby Chatterjee who is also in search of this chemical but she needs it to create some life-saving drug for a kid. We also get to see glimpses of the other two key players Rajatava Dutta who is sporting a very different look like a local resident in Thailand and Shantilal Mukherjee who is most probably playing the villain.
