Pratim D Gupta directorial 'Love Aaj Kal Porshu' has seen many changes in the lead role. Earlier, Jisshu Sengupta and Mimi Chakraborty were decided to play the lead role but things didn't work. Love Aaj Kal Porshu will release in the next year 2020

Its Wrap Up Of Love Aaj Kal Porshu; Pratim D Gupta Says ‘See You In Theatres In 2020’
Pratim D Gupta has wrapped up the shooting of his romantic flick ‘Love Aaj Kal Porshu’. The film stars Madhumita Sarkar and Arjun Chakraborty in the lead role. Love Aaj Kal Porshu will release in the next year 2020.   

Pratim D Gupta took to Twitter, “See you in theatres in early 2020. #LoveAajKalPorshu.”  Love Aaj Kaal Porshu will be a modern-day love story. It will show the changing dynamics of man-woman relationships against a riveting backdrop. The film is bankrolled by SVF entertainment.
Earlier, Mimi Chakraborty was reported to play lead actress role but she opted out. She was quoted saying that she was not comfortable doing intimate scenes. Jisshu Sengupta hands are also full of other projects and he is unable to give required dates to the director. So, he expressed his unavailability and hope to work with Pratim in the future.

Recently, Pratim's film Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo was screened at Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival. In the film, Ritwick plays Shantilal who is not a professional detective but he is a journalist in a newspaper. He turns out to be a detective when he gets involved in a mystery related to a superstar. Paoli Dam is playing the superstar role.
