Atanu Ghosh did not share much information about the film as he is still working on the script. Only the cast has been decided and it was confirmed by actor Prosenjit Chatterjee who will be working with Ghosh for the second time

Jaya Ahsan To Be Paired Opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee in Atanu Ghosh's Next Untitled Project
National award-winning filmmaker Atanu Ghosh has announced a new project starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Jaya Ahsan. The news was confirmed by Prosenjit Chatterjee who will work with Atanu Ghosh for the second time.

Prosenjit Chatterjee said that they are working on several ideas and script is yet to finalise. However, this is for the first time Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan will be paired opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee.


Prosenjit Chatterjee has worked in Mayurakshi which was directed by Atanu Ghosh and also won the Best Bengali Feature Film award at 65th National Film Awards. Mayurakshi narrates an intensely emotional tale of an 84-year-old father Sushovan, a brilliant former professor of History, presently suffering from age related neurological problems including dementia and cognitive dysfunction. His middle-aged son Aryanil visits him, an intimately sensitive man going through an unsettling phase in his personal life. Though deeply attached to his father, Aryanil is settled in Chicago and as such cut off from the soul who shaped his life. Within a five-day span of reunion, lost chapters get curiously reopened and incidents long buried suddenly turn relevant. Few days become more eventful than years and through the process of confrontation with aging and destiny, Aryanil seeks hope and sustenance in his own life.

Meanwhile, Atanu Ghosh has shared second poster of upcoming film Binisutoy. Jaya Ahsan and Ritwick Chakraborty are in the lead role. The movie is about two strangers and how they find peace in each other’s story.
