Jisshu Sengupta Shares BTS Picture From Durgavati
Durgavati is a Hindi remake of a Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie’. Jisshu will be seen next in Sadak 2 where he will be essaying the role of Alia Bhatt’s father. Next, he will be featured as Vidya Balan's husband in Shakuntala Devi
It was only a few days before that we had revealed that Tollywood most bankable actor Jisshu Sengupta will be sharing screen space with Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar in a film titled ‘Durgavati’. The film is a Hindi remake of a Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie’. Anushka Shetty was seen in the lead role in the film.
Jisshu Sengupta who has many projects lined up has shared behind the scene picture on Instagram account. The film is being directed by G Ashok.
On the work, Jisshu will be seen next in Sadak 2 where he will be essaying the role of Alia Bhatt’s father. Next, he will be featured as Vidya Balan's husband in Shakuntala Devi. Vidya Balan will play the role of math genius Shakuntala Devi and Jisshu will play her on-screen husband Paritosh Banerji who was an IAS officer from Kolkata and was married to Shakuntala. However, they got separated in 1979. The film is directed by Anu Menon.

He has also been chosen to play the role of young Soumitra Chatterjee’s role. Parambrata Chatterjee will be directing a film on thespian actor Soumitra Chatterjee titled ‘Abhijaan’.
