Kaali Season 2 will be premiered on ZEE5 from Friday. Kaali first season was a huge success and producers are expecting the same response from the second season too. The show is produced by Parambrata Chatterjee. The web series features Paoli Dam, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Abhishek Banerjee, Vidya Malvade, Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Abhimanyu Mukherjee.
Paoli Dam shares her thoughts on the show and said, “The Red Hibiscus or Laal Joba is more than just beautiful. To us, it is divine... Maa Kaali’s favourite flower. I read somewhere that the shape of a hibiscus mirrors Maa Kaali’s tongue and the colour red represents her fury, strength and fierceness. Kaali resides within you, me and each one of us. Kaali is a story of an everyday human being, a woman, a mother who unleashes the Kaali within her to save her son.”

Her last release is Sanjhbati’. The film showcases the relationship from a completely different angle. Dev Adhikari plays the character of a suburban young man who comes to the city and meets a young girl played by Paoli in unusual circumstances. However, Lily Chakraborty plays the main protagonist in the film. The veteran actress plays the role of an elderly woman who is in the center of the narrative.
