Kakababur Protyaborton: Srijit Mukherji’s Shares Details About His Next Film

The film will feature Prosenjit Chatterjee and Aryann Bhowmik as Kakababu and Santu. Besides them, Anirban Bhattacharya will also be a part of the cast. The film will be releasing this year during Durga Puja

Kakababur Protyaborton: Srijit Mukherji’s Shares Details About His Next Film
Srijit Mukherji has been receiving appreciation from all corners for his recent release Dwitiyo Purush. The national award winner director, who is currently busy in the shooting of his debut web series Feluda Pherot, has already announced his film titled Kakababur Protyaborton. The film will star Prosenjit Chatterjee as Raja Roy Chowdhury. 

In the past, Srijit Mukherji had made two Kakababu films — Mishawr Rawhoshyo and Yeti Obhijaan. And this will be the third part of Kakababu which is expected to release this Puja.


Speaking about his Kakababur Protyaborton film, Srijit Mukherji said, “The third part will take fans into jungles of Africa. In this part, I have made some changes on my own and it will be different from the last two.”


Kakababur Protyaborton is based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s novel ‘Jongoler Modhye Ek Hotel’. The story will revolve around Raja Roy Chowdhury aka Kakababu and his nephew Santu. Both have gone on a trip to Nairobi, Kenya and there they are hosted by a Bengali couple. After some days, Kakababu and his nephew Santu is invited from an Africa-based Indian businessman in their hotel which is located inside Maasai Mara forest. But before their arrival, some German tourists go missing from the hotel and what happens next is the film all about.
