Koel Mallick Starrer Mitin Mashi Travels To Hyderabad, Know Why
Arindam Sil, whose next will be based on 100 years of Bengali cinema, has another reason to be happy. His last film Mitin Mashi which speaks on women empowerment will now be screened at Telangana Bengali Film Festival. The film stars Koel Mallick in the lead role. 

Camellia Productions tweeted, “An announcement for all our friends in Hyderabad! Our film #MitinMashi is going to be screened at the #TelanganaBengaliFilmFestival #AAYNA2019, on 7th December, at 8:00 PM and 8th December, at 10 AM.”

The film has projected a female as a detective. Talking to Pycker, Arindam had said, “I think my film will be the first one with a female detective. Mitin is something Bengali audience has never seen before. Mitin is the representative of women empowerment.”


The film break the myth that females cannot be a detective as she better handles the household work. But in this film, Koel Mallick is seen balancing the house and her work without any problem.

The trailer of the film is widely being appreciated. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the movie being around the kidnapping of a school kid. Later we are introduced with parents of the kid played by Vinay Pathak and June Malya who hire Mitin Mashi for investigating the crime. Koel Mallick is Mitin Masi aka Pragyaparamita Mukherjee who is a homemaker cum detective. Her look and body language are looking very different from most of her mainstream movies. In the trailer, we can see her doing action also. 
 
Meanwhile, Koel Mallick’s Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan will be releasing today. This is the sequel of Jawker Dhan which was released in 2016.
