Lokkhi Chhele Speaks About Superstitions In Villages, Says Ujaan Ganguly
Kaushik Ganguly’s next upcoming film Lokkhi Chhele official poster has already released. The film has recently received uncut ‘U’ From the central board of film certification (CBFC). The film stars Ujaan Ganguly in the lead role. The story of this is inspired by a real-life incident and will be produced by Windows Production house.

Talking about the film, Ujaan Ganguly said that the story shows superstitions, stigma which is still very much prevalent in society. The film is spreading a very important message.

“I am essaying the role of a doctor who has his own principles and is against these superstitions of society. He wants to bring changes in the society and is very much determine to do this. How will he do this and what difficulties he faces is the story all about,” Ujaan added. The official poster of the film shows Ujaan carrying a small baby girl who has four hands.

The film narrates the story of the invention of Rosogolla. Nobin Chandra Das's father dies soon after Nobin's birth and faces a financial crisis. Nobin decides to become a sweet maker. His love interest (later wife) Khirodmoni suggests and inspires him to invent a new type of sweet. After years of hard work, Nobin invents Rosogolla. This invention makes him famous in West Bengal.
