Mimi Chakrabarty Shares Screen Space With Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan

Actress turned politician Mimi Chakraborty has shared an advertisement video on her Instagram account. In the video, she is spotted with a Bollywood actress and she is none other than Vidya Balan. The actress is already a hit in the digital world as she has released two songs from her first album.

Both are seen together for a hair oil brand. Mimi always keeps her fans posted about herself. The actress is quite active on social media and these days she is busy attending winter session in Parliament.


Mimi has debuted with film Bapi Bari Jaa was released on 7 December 2012 in which she played the female lead, Dola. The film was produced by Prosenjit Chatterjee production house, Ideas Creations. The film was also the silver-screen debut of Arjun Chakrabarty (better known as Gora, the male protagonist from Gaaner Opaarey) who played the role of Bapi, the male lead.

Recently, she was in the news for quitting Pratim D Gupta’s film Love Aaj Kal Porshu. The actress had cited discomfort in shooting intimate scenes with co-star as the reason.

According to The Times of India report, Mimi, who is also, an MP now was quoted saying, “I am never comfortable in intimate scenes. So, why should do it now after all these years.”  She rubbished the reports of her being an MP as a reason for saying no to intimate scenes.

It was last reported that Mimi Chakraborty will be seen next in Khela Jakhon which is directed by Arindam Sil. Bengali actress-turned-politician Mimi Chakraborty, who won during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections are much more than just a popular face.
