The 26-day long winter session of Parliament has commenced from Monday and this will be the second session of the BJP-led NDA government which stormed to power with a massive mandate in the Lok Sabha elections.

Leaders were seen in full attendance except for few who did not attend the first day. One such is Nusrat Jahan who is admitted to hospital after she complained of breathing problem.
In between, actress turned politician Mimi Chakraborty also attended the session with her mother. She even shared the picture on her social media account. Mimi was spotted wearing back kurta with black blazer in the picture.

It is to be noted here that Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan was badly trolled for posting their pictures in front of Parliament. In the pictures, Mimi and Nusrat, who have won by huge margins from Jadavpur and Basirhat Lok Sabha seats respectively in West Bengal, was seen holding up their identity cards in front of the Parliament building.
"1st day #LokSabha #MemberOfParliament. Wish me luck and keep supporting," Mimi captioned a photograph of hers.

Nusrat also posted a picture of hers in front of the Parliament, and wrote "A new beginning..!! I thank Mamata Banerjee and people of my #Basirhat constituency to have belief in me."
The act of the two first-time MPs did not go down well with a section of netizens, as a number of messages trolling the two actors appeared on social media.

Mimi's picture was widely circulated on the Internet as she posed alongside Nusrat, who was dressed in fitted pants and a zipped peplum top. A section of social media users commented that they should have chosen Indian traditional wear to parliament, instead of looking like "tourists".
But both women handled the incident very well and did not seem disturbed from this. Nusrat slammed trollers and said that she represent inclusive India.
