Mitin Mashi Is Something Bengali Audience Have Never Seen Before, Says Director Arindam Sil

Director Arindam Sil love for detective thrillers is not unknown. He loves to direct such films and his Byomkesh Pawrbo and Byomkesh Gwotro is two of the most successful films. And this time he is again coming up with another detective film Mitin Mashi. The film will be releasing on October 2.
But this time he has projected a female as a detective and he is very proud of this. Talking to Pycker, he said, “I think my film will be the first one with a female detective. Mitin is something Bengali audience have never seen before. Mitin is the representative of women empowerment.”
The film break the myth that female cannot be a detective as she better handles the household work. But in this film, Koel Mallick will be seen balancing the house and her work without any problem.
The trailer of the film is widely being appreciated. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the movie being around the kidnapping of a school kid. Later we are introduced with parents of the kid played by Vinay Pathak and June Malya who hire Mitin Mashi for investigating the crime. Koel Mallick is Mitin Masi aka Pragyaparamita Mukherjee who is a homemaker cum detective. Her look and body language are looking very different from most of her mainstream movies. In the trailer, we can see her doing action also.
