Each time actress Paoli Dam makes an appearance, the star manages to make a fashion statement. From looking chic in a gown to slaying it in ethnic wear, the actress has done it all. And now the fashionista is setting a statement in this gorgeous traditional banarasi saree.
On recently shared the Instagram post, the star is seen wearing beautiful pink coloured banarasi saree, posing for the cameras as she looked elegant in the traditional Indian nine-yard wonder.
With minimal makeup, smoky eye, and open straight hair, the actress is looking very beautiful.
She has even written a post on the Instagram, “This and a few more like this, I'd like to call them 9 yards of cherished memories. This particular Benarasi weave is from my personal collection and I have worn it quite a few times before. I especially choose to wear this saree on days that I really look forward to. In fact, I wore this for the Sanjhbati special Dadagiri episode that airs on 21st December, next Saturday. I was sharing the stage with stalwarts such as Soumitra Chatterjee and of course, our beloved dada, Saurav Ganguly himself, promoting a film that is very close to my heart. It was one of my special days... how could I not wear my beautiful Benarasi! Repeating clothes makes them even more valuable for the time we spend in them. In times, such as now, buying less and wearing more helps the environment immensely. Let's aim to create a safer world.”
On the work front, Paoli Dam will be next seen in Sanjhbati with Dev Adhikari. The trailer of the film was released. The stars are also geared up for the promotions of the film. The film story is about two elderly lonely couple who have been left by their own kids. Paoli Dam and Dev take care of them and how these two become their own? The film talks about the parent-children relationships and even puts a question about how we treat our parents when they become old.
Apart from Paoli and Dev, Soumitra Chattopadhyay, and Lily Chakraborty will also be seen in the film. Sanjhbati is releasing on December 20.
