Paoli Dam Remembers Rabindranath Tagore; Sings A Song For The Fans
Paoli Dam will be next seen in Abhijaan which is a biopic on veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee. Parambrata Chatterjee is directing the film. She was last seen in Love Aaj Kal Porshu starring Arjun Chakrabarty and Madhumita Sarkar.
Rabindranath Tagore birth anniversary is been celebrated today i.e. May 8. The Nobel Laureate globally celebrated on the 25th day of the Bengali month of Boishakh. Many Tollywood celebrities took to their social handle to wish fans and even narrated some lines of the world renowned poet.
Tagore is known for writing the Indian national anthem and Gitanjali and was also the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Paoli Dam took to her Instagram handle and sung a beautiful song of Rabindranath Tagore. She shared the video, “Art is meditation. Art is life saving. Art is faith. Art gives hope. When the world comes to a standstill, it is in art that we find peace, solace and a home. Imagine how different it would have been if we had to survive in times such as now without music, poetry and stories... This song is my homage to the greatest of all.”
