Pritha Chakraborty first film Mukherjee Dar Bou has won Gender Sensitivity Award 2020. The film stars Anusuya Majumdar, Koneenica Banerjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Aparajita Auddy, Badshah Moitra and Biswanath Basu in the lead roles. 

The film revolves around the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The film was released on last year International women day and had received many awards.


The film shows a woman who is married for over 10 years and is a housewife. She is even the mother of a six-year-old. But her life experiences a sudden turn of events when her father-in-law passes away and her mother-in-law started creating problems. How she deals with it and manages everything is the film all about. The film was appreciated at many platforms.

Pritha even won many awards for this film. However, she has not shared her future plans regarding the next project.
