Raima Sen Bags Best Actor Female For Film Tarikh at Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival
Raima Sen has won Jury Award For Best Actor Female for the film Tarikh at Hyderabad Bengali Film Festival. The actress shared news on Twitter and expressed her gratitude to the entire team of the film.

She wrote, “Film Tarikh..directed by churni Ganguly..produced by opera movies..thank you to the entire team and my co actors..gratitude.”


Director Raj Chakraborty also wished the actress congratulations on the Twitter.


Tarikh is directed by Churni Ganguly and the film narrates a story of three individuals: Anirban Gupta, a professor, Ira, Anirban's wife, works as a hotel lobby manager, and Rudrangshu (Rudy), Anirban's childhood friend. Raima Sen, Saswata Chatterjee and Ritwick Chakraborty were in the lead roles.

The festival started on July 18 and will end on 21st July. South Indian superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni and Bengali legendary filmmaker Buddhadeb Dasgupta inaugurated the 6th edition of HBFF.

This year the Bengali Panorama segment is going to feature 13 Bengali films, out of which 2 films are going to have a World Premiere (Manab Manabi directed by Subrata Sen & Shironam directed by Indranil Ghosh), and 1 film is going to see an India Premier (Tokhon Kuasha Chhilo directed by Saibal Mitra). Apart from this, 9 films are going to be premiered in Hyderabad. Bollywood famed editor Dilip Deo is going to world premiere his directorial debut, Unwanted, in this edition of HBFF.
