Raima Sen To Make Tamil Debut With ‘Agni Siragugal’, Shares Her Character Poster As ‘Smitha’

Raima Sen has recently completed the shooting of Srijit Mukherji’s Dwitiyo Purush and she is all set to make her debut in Tamil film industry. She will be seen in Agni Siraguga directed by Naveen. Raima will share the screen with Arun Vijay. To increase the excitement fans, the filmmakers have unveiled the character poster of Raima Sen.

On the work front, her next Dwitiyo Purush will start from where Baishe Srabon had left off. Baishe Srabon story revolved two journalists and two police officers (one suspended) chasing a vengeful Kolkata psychopath, who leaves behind couplets from Bengali poems. Baishe Srabon received positive reviews from critics and was one of the highest-grossing Bengali films of 2011. The film received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification for adult language.
Talking about her experience, Raima had praised Srijit and said he is a master of thrillers and no one else can make better than him. “The look of Amrita is a little mature, as the story takes place eight years since the events of Baishe Srabon. Param reprises the role of chief detective Abhijit Pakrashi. ‘Baishe Srabon’ changed the way thrillers were perceived by the Bengali audience.”
