Raj Chakraborty Next Film ‘Hey Garvodharini’ Name Changed, Releases First Look Poster
Before the release of Parineeta, Raj Chakraborty had announced his next film titled as ‘Hey Garvodharini’ but now the news are coming that the name of the film has been changed. The new name is Dharmayuddha. However, there is no change in the star cast of the film.

Actress Subhashree Ganguly took to her official Twitter account to make the announcement and also unveiled the first look poster of the film. “1st look of our next!! Name changed. Now it’s #Dharmayuddha  @parnomittra @myslf_soham #ritwickchakraborty @iamrajchoco @iindraadip @MimoHazra @Joyeeta2886.”


The first look poster is very interesting as it shows a plate in which one chapattis along with two pieces of potatoes are kept. And there are five hands which want to have that food. The poster gives clear sign that the film is all about the survival and what it takes to survive.

The film was always in the news for its multi starrer cast. The film will feature multi-stars including Subhashree Ganguly, Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mitra, Soham Chakraborty, Swatilekha Sengupta.

According to reports, the film will be a political drama set in a locality situated near border area. The film will revolve around five central characters an aged woman, a girl who is her caretaker and three strangers who come to take shelter in her house. It will focus on the equations between these five characters, going through a situation of communal violence around them.

Veteran actress Swatilekha Sengupta will be seen playing the aged woman. The other four characters will be played by Ritwick Chakraborty, Soham Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly and Parno Mittra. Both Swatilekha Sengupta and Parno Mittra will be working with Raj Chakraborty for the first time. Also, it will be the first time when Ritwick Chakraborty and Soham Chakraborty will share the screen together.

It will be Raj Chakraborty’s second directorial for his home production after Parineeta.
